Meet Our Amazing Staff
Insert great writing giving an overall feel for the teachers…

Amanda P.
Amanda’s yoga journey began when she took her first class with Jodi at the age of 14, which led her to Kula Yoga in 2012. She completed her 200-RYT certification in 2014 with Kula Yoga’s first teacher training program. If you are looking for your stereotypical yoga class, you won’t find that here. Amanda’s classes are funky, fun, & flowy, with a strong focus on alignment. She aims to always keep it real, while helping students find power, strength, & courage in every pose. Amanda has studied under many yogis, such as Kathryn Budig, Dice & Briohny, Kino MacGregor, Laura Kasperzak, Bryan Kest, among many others from whom she draws inspiration. While the asana practice is fun & challenging, each class serves as a reminder of the spiritual roots that ground our practice. Amanda’s favorite quote to bring it back to this is, “When the proverbial shit hits the fan, you don’t do the splits.” -Gina Caputo

Gale 200 RYT, LMT
Yoga found Gale over 10 years ago, a few years after she became a Massage Therapist on Long Island, NY. The natural relationship and dovetail between yoga and massage captured her immediately. Having been an athlete most of her life, playing soccer for 25 years, as well as several motor vehicle accidents, she has been able to heal many an injury with their compensatory side effects.Throughout her practice she has studied anusara, ashtanga, bikram, vinyasa and yin, appreciating the gifts each style has to offer.. Most recently, after the passing of her mom from cancer, reevaluating certain aspects of life and throwing things up to the powers that be, she moved to Florida, where the spiritual aspects of the practice have gained an even greater meaning in Gale’s life.. We truly are all ONE.. as yoga has graced and inspired Gale’s life, she looks forward to sharing in your journey and is thrilled to be a part of the Kula family.

Jamie
At the time, Jamie thought completing her first marathon would be her major life event for the year, at least as far as exercise goes. It was after a grueling marathon that Jamie first discovered yoga in early 2013, which set into motion a major life change. Her entire outlook on exercise and nutrition became focused on gaining strength and flexibility, slowly transitioning to a vegan diet. It was after practicing yoga for about a year and a half, she completed her 200 RYT with Happy Place TT at Kula Yoga. Yoga has created a healthy awareness of her body and soul. As a former elementary teacher, Jamie brings her passion to inspire all students to be open to learning about all the benefits yoga has to offer.

Jeff
Jeff’s vinyasa flow style at his weekday classes offers a balance of guided breath meditation and integration, powerful and deep all-level vinyasa movement and Yin/Nidra meditation. He brings to the experience the aesthetics of his passion for philosophy, world-religion, spirituality and One-ness, art and music.
His class intention is to cultivate easily repeatable practices and ways of being for his students that ground them deeper into their practice and their own transformational space of truth and internal guidance. It is the yoga of relationship– to source, our selves, each other and all that we experience and create. It is yoga for the community, and every class is a unique and shared journey of inquiry and discovery.
“Although I was already familiar with yogic philosophy, I came to discover the asana, the physical practice, as a middle age male needing to heel spine injuries and 20 years of chronic pain and inflammation. Something just told me to trust the built-in wisdom of the ancient practice. So I did. And I practiced every day and in a couple months I was pain free and my physical body had completely transformed. But I didn’t notice that so much, because I was meeting myself for the first time, I was meeting my own guru and that changed everything. So that’s my intention– to create a safe space of connection and community for others to do the same. I’m grateful for our Kula yoga community. It’s difficult for me to describe ‘what my yoga is’. My yoga is your yoga. I strive to be a passionate student and a compassionate teacher and I’m grateful everyday that I get to be. And wherever that meets me…that’s what my yoga is.”–jeff fedora

Katherine 200 RYT
Katherine first fell in love with yoga in 2006 while working as a Certified Group Exercise Instructor at the University of Central Florida. It was there that her future husband (then yoga teacher) introduced her to the practice and opened her eyes to a whole new way to approach health, wellness, and spiritual betterment. Since then yoga has gradually challenged and changed Katherine’s life for the better, something that she feels it can provide for anyone interested in starting their own practice. Katherine is a 200-HR RYT through Yoga Alliance and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional in her “regular” job.

Kelli 500 RYT
I have been in the fitness industry for over 17 years and I am currently an IFTA personal trainer and E-RYT 200hr and RYT 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I am also the creator and director of Dynamic Yoga Barre Fundamental Training. I found the love of yoga later in my fitness career, after a neck injury forced me to give up teaching my high impact classes and focus on a more healing approach to fitness. After practicing yoga for three years, I decided to get certified. Yoga has strengthened me mentally, emotionally, and physically. Being able to come to my mat, be present in the moment, and completely let go, has truly had a positive affect on my life. I feel blessed to share what I have learned and I am always open to learning more. I am known in the yoga community as an outgoing and playful teacher, who brings a strong and dynamic flow that will give you a deep understanding of the practice and cultivate body awareness. My mission is to inspire people to live empowered, creative, and vibrant lives through the practice of yoga and meditation. One in which our true nature of clarity, happiness, and peace is cultivated, so that we may experience the challenges of our lives with an open-hearted ease. The greatest reward that I get from my work is knowing that I really am inspiring others to live healthier and happier lives and they are sharing their new found inspiration with others, making the world a better place. My favorite styles of yoga are Vinyasa and Yin, and I currently hold workshops all over Volusia County and Florida and teach at Kula Yoga and Renew Yoga Studios.

Michele 200 RY, PharmD
Michele brings a unique perspective to the yoga community through her life experiences as a mother, yoga teacher, and many years in the healthcare industry as a pharmacist in a spinal cord rehab hospital. She is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She has also completed more than 100 hours and all 3 levels of Aerial Yoga training from Circusoul Flying Yoga with continued education in Aerial Vinyasa Flow. From there she started the company Flying Beach Yoga, so that aerial yoga would have a presence in the local community as well as different social media outlets like www.FlyingBeachYoga.com, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
She has also completed 40 hours of In Depth Power Yoga Training Immersion with Bryan Kest of Santa Monica Power Yoga and Meditation. Recently she has completed a children’s’ yoga teaching course with Jamie Amor, RYT of Cosmic Kids Yoga so that she has an in-depth understanding of how to share the many benefits of yoga with kids in our local community. She also shares kids yoga through the website www.KulaYogaKids.com and on the Kula Yoga Kids Facebook page. Although she has practiced many different types of yoga for over 20 years, her main focus is Aerial Yoga as she discovered it in 2013 and instantly loved it as it provided instant relief from her neck and upper back pain from a skiing injury many years before. As yoga has drastically improved her quality of life, she felt it was too beneficial both therapeutically and mentally not to share it with others.

Pam 200 RYT
Pam has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor since 1983, and a certified yoga instructor since 1998. In 2008, she completed the 200 hour RYT training program as a natural addendum to finding balance in a diversified sports and performance/athletic coaching profession and personal practice. Her formal education, undergraduate and graduate work is in human behavior and psychology – understanding how people think and therefore what choices they make. A 30 year veteran in the nutrition education industry as well, Pam has blended these passions and experiences into a dedicated effort to help those ready and willing to unleash the understanding that anything is possible. Her belief is that those who will dream and who will be coachable and teachable – open to everything and attached to nothing, can design a life beyond anything they were lead to believe.

Amber 200 RYT
Amber’s passion for yoga began in 2011 during college when her friend asked her to attend a Bikram class with her. Yoga immediately consumed a very special place in her heart, attending classes as often as possible. Learning the depth that yoga has to offer is extremely rewarding physically, mentally and emotionally. After finding Kula Yoga and experiencing an even deeper connection with yoga than she ever knew was possible, Amber applied for Kula’s first teacher training program where she earned her 200-hour RYT certification.
Amber’s goal as a yoga teacher is to give her students the ability to find peace, love, clarity and strength within themselves.
Amber’s favorite yoga style is vinyasa flow but she appreciates and respects all styles of yoga as long as it means she can honor herself during the practice.
